I guess it would depend on where you live. If you are in India and you are working the night shift I can see how that can adversly affect you. You would not get adequate sleep or be able to spend time with your family and that would be rough. However, from what I understand call center is actually a good job in India and you do have a choice whether or not to work there. The bad thing is that these folks are taking Western holidays and ruining their own traditions. I think you should be more worried about that than the possible adverse health affects. If you wan in the US, many call centers are a pretty relaxed place to work with scheduled breaks, lunches and various times that you can work. I worked in an incoming call center for about a year and it did not bother me much, but I was on the 7am-4pm shift. I didn't loose any sleep and I got to spend time with my family.

Do you work in a call center? If a job is imposing drastic health issues to an individual, I would probably look for a new job. Work should be fun, not hazardous to your health!
