Is it ethical to turn your brother in for murder if he actually kills someone?

honestly the right thing to do is turn your brother in. It is a way of showing tough love and he did a crime that needs to go punnished. It is never right to hurt another human like that.

Our legal obligation is to turn him into proper authorities because he has committed a crime. However, If I were in your place, I think I will have the urge to hide him somewhere maybe because we do not want him to suffer inside the prison, locked up maybe for life. But of course, we cannot escape the justice system. Even if we hide him, sooner or later, the police will find out where he is and will also arrest him. So at the end, its better to turn him in and just seek legal remedies so that his penalty will not be severe.

yes. it is the best thing you can do to ensure the safety of others so it wouldn't happen again. it's not saying you don't love him. if anything it is showing you love him. by not letting him do anything else like that. it would seem a little unethical if you just didn't do anything personally. always have to try to do the right thing even if it hurts someone.

The only ethical question is in committing a murder... it is not ethical, and must be paid for no matter who did it.
