Who is better friend-man or dog?

I have a best friend, it is not man and it is neither a dog.. it is a Cat and his name is Cicko.. I've never thought 4 years ago that I will love a cat, but this cat knows when I am in sorrow, when someone hurt me.. I go out sitting on the stairs and he comes by and puts his leg on mine and looks me deep in my eyes like hi wants to say something to me.. :) I love him very much and sometimes I think that hi is not just a cat.. also.. when he came to me, I didn't realized that he has a mark on his head like the initial of my name :) Destiny or faith?

I think it all depends on the man and dog. I have had great people in my life that would never hurt me and there are great dogs out there. But I have been hurt by people and I have been attacked by dogs.

Honestly I would have to say that dogs (or any pet) are better friends in a lot of ways...Ppl are so greedy, sneaky and abusive even at times with the ones they love but animals arent like that..they are devoted and loving no matter what...

I think man always changes his colors, so better to trust Dog,recently I saw a lady accompanied by a dog, she is wagging her tail and kissing her what a love.If human beings also showed this much we would have a better world.

Dogs definatly!! Id like to say friends but they do let you down and somtimes at times you really need them to be there! Dogs are there for you always, without judgment !

Hello there. I would have to agree with the 3 mylotters (see above). Dogs are the best. They are faithful and loyal. Sadly speaking, these are traits many human beings lack. =( Dogs hardly fail your expectation of them. Whereas for friends, sometimes we do fail each other.

Yes, I agree with you. My Dog 'CASH' is my best friend, when i want to sahre something and their is no one to understand me, he is the one who understand me and make me feel that i have someone when i am alone.. Live and enjoy ur life

yes i agree wth u dat dogs r better frnds thn human beigns.let me tell u this Dogs r 4 times loyal n provide unconditional love than wht humans do.they help us in all sorts of trouble.truely they r best friends

Dogs, paws down!!! Dogs give us unconditional love and can teach humans a thing or two about how to treat other people. They're not kidding when they say dogs are wo/mens best friend!

Us in the family are dog-lovers and through the years, we have observed the different dogs we've had. Not everyone were good friends (hehe) but you can really see how transparent they are with how they feel. But then we cannot compare a man with a dog. =D

i think dogs are wonderful for companionship. i dont know if its psychological or real, but i often feel like my pet actually knows what im thinking and feeling, and that she responds accordingly. they are a great addition to your emotional support system, but i really wonder if i can carry on all my life, having only kacey as a companion. so i dont think they can substitute for a human friend. and there are lots of perfectly trustworthy non 'backstabbing' people out there.
