Navratri - Festival of dance and music - This shows the type of dance that we do during Navratri - festival of dance and music. This particular dance is called Raas.

Navratri is a special festival for Gujarat with 9 days of dancing (Garba) and praying to the Goddess of Strength (Maa Amba). We see colourful dresses and bright lights and music till late night. Have you ever taken part in this festival?

Dear dbhattji, I am living in Kolkata. We have got four days holiday to celebrate "PUJA". Here in Kolkata whole city is having lot of PUJA PANDALS. Millions of people visiting different pandal. Navratri is celebrated with all kind of artritic Pandals. Whole city of Kolkata wearing the Puja celebration culture. It is one of the most important celebration of Bengali people. They purchase new dresses and visit different relatives and friends and exchange gifts.

My neighbours are from Kolkata and I see the preparations they do for Durga Puja, I have even attended the festival.
