I've been a huge fan of Age of Empires for over 10 years. My all time favorite game.
Years ago I started playing on MSNs game zone against other people. This truly brings a new level of game play to the game. Nothing like playing online against real people. Unfortunately MSN closed their free zone access about 2 years ago leaving us AGE fans in the dark.
After some internet searching I was happy to find a site that had Age of Empires online. They died down and now their only seems to be 1 really good site to play online igzones.com.
Highly recommended, over 1000 people playing, and free to use. What more can you ask for.
I'm sure there are other AOE fans that have been looking for somewhere to play, this is the place to be.

Age of empires...one of my favorite game...
It is my favorite game among the real time strategy of games..i played Age of empires 2 first...Then i played Age of mythology..
I also played the latest age of empires...it is a wonderful experience over the game play...
We are waiting for the new one...
