They said, it's hard to take care of a teenager rather than a 1 year old baby. Is it true?

That is a definite "YES". It's a difficult age not only for her but for us mothers. It's like a confusing stage in which they stand in the middle of being a child and an adult and they sometimes think they are or can do what young adults do at times. This is because young adults and teens usually gather around or hang out in same places or together and there is where trouble starts. It is very important you explain this to your teen so she knows what she is allowed and what not so she does'nt stay confused. You were a teenager so you should know what to say 'GOOD LUCK"

I have both. I can't say that one is harder than the other. Both an be very good or very difficult. The baby requires more of my active attention while the teenager takes up a lot of my passive attention (thinking, worrying, planning). I spend a lot of time chasing and lifting and holding the baby and obviously don't have to do those things for the teenager BUT I do have to spend a lot of time making sure he's going to shool, doing his work, not getting into trouble, driving safely and all the other normal teenager issues. Today is a good example...The baby is sick causing me to get less than 3 hours of sleep. I will have to drive the 1/2 one way to the doctor's office. I have to keep him very close to me so I can monitor his breathing until then. I am physically tired already AND worried for him. The teenager is also not feeling well. He is sleeping in his room. I haven't had to do anything for him yet. I am very worried though because he's barely been to school all week. His grades are dropping and because of other issues and the fact that he is 17, I'm thinking this may be leading up to him dropping out of school. He's old enough to do this without parental consent. He also has a serious girlfriend and even though they claim to be careful I worry about having a grandbaby too soon. But none of this requires any physical exertion on my part. ...so which of them is more difficult today? I'd say the baby.
