Which Do You Prefer? Old or Young Professor?

for me i prefer the younger set of brilliant professor because they are more dynamic and interesting. they can easily relate to us thus it breeds a kind of pleasant information exchange and interaction which is helpful in acquiring knowledge.

I think, both the old and young professor is OK. The old professor may have more special experience that is useful and worthwhile for us. However, the young professor also has advantages. He can apply more modernized ideas in teaching and leading us.

I prefer the younger professors instead of the older ones. It has been my experience that the younger professors are more reasonable with the work load. They understand that people have life outside of school and don't overburden their students with homework. Younger professors also realize that many of the students can't sit and listen to a lecture for three hours straight. They mix the class up a bit with lectures, breaks, group work, and instructional videos. This way it keeps the students thinking. I've had a problem with the older professors being forgetful. They have many times lost my work, forgot to hand back assignments and get confused more easily.

The age of the professor is not really a consideration for me. I pick those that I think will teach me well. And I found out that old professors have more knowledge of the field they teach, from academic to experience. But yeah, younger ones are more considerate and fun to be with.

I like both of them,because both of them can teach us lots of knowlege .the old teacher can teach us lots of knwolege about which happened long ago and the yong teachers can tell us lots of things we do not know.

I don't prefer any of them in particular. I look at their personalities first. But yeah, young professors are more fun and they make you fall asleep less. I find older professors smarter with the more experience they have in teaching. So they're able to give more knowledge out, and they could probably control the class better.

i don't think so that old teachers will follow old technies and new one will come up with new way of teaching.i choose one who teach me well whom i understand and guide me in proper way.beyond this i least bother about his age.
