Stop signs

Do you actually do a complete stop at a stop sign or do you do the stop and roll?

My dad (who taught me how to drive) taught me to completely stop, then count to 5. He use to say anything else is a *rolling stop*. It is 27 years later and I find myself still doing that. Completely stop, and then count to 5. I think he would be proud of me.
