Weekend Is Here ! What Do You Usually Do ?

I don't usually do much on the weekend. I have a short paper and a midterm due by Tuesday that I will be spending my weekend doing. I typically spend time watching movies, which I have a lot I just recently got. I don't have any money so I won't be going out anywhere. That's for sure. I doubt I'll even leave my house, which isn't an odd thing for me. I'm such a homebody!

A very good question. Weekdays have already passed and now we're going to face the weekends. I usually spend my weekend with my family and friends in an out-of-town trip or any place which is not so crowded for us to have some happy times together. Swimming in beaches or falls would be better. Or having a grill or barbecue party outdoor with family and friends. And of course, every Sunday I do hear mass and have time for reflection. I do reflect on the things I've done the whole week, and thank God Almighty for all the blessings He has showered on us. I usually end the weekend planning ahead for another week of my life. Life is so short, so I gotta live it to its fullest!

I'm a mom of four with one kid having cerebral palsy. My typical weekdays were spent taking care of the kids, doing house chores and working on my magazine articles while my husband goes to the office everyday. When Saturday rolls around, all I want is to have the luxury to sleep until I am refreshed. Thankfully, my husband understands and takes over. When I wake up in the late afternoon, they all have eaten lunch and done some chores. Weekends are when I cook special dinner dishes for my family. We bond by watching DVDs together or playing games like charades or badminton outside when the weather is good.

i have to tell you this wknd is a little different than others, and i'm starting a new job here at the end of the month, so the wknds will change a tad. but we like to be a family on the wknds. saturday's my hubby may have class or work, but not always, so if he doesn't we relax as much as we can, watch some tv, he and my son play games, i don't clean the house!! haha! it's relax time. sunday i get up and go to early mass, then come home and make breakfast, and we go from there. sometimes we have things planned, other times not. we don't have a lot of spending money so we are homebodies. and i like that we spend our time together! sometimes i'll take my son to the park, sometimes we have family birthday parties or get togethers to attend. we used to go to movies and go out to eat or order in, but for now we're just together, and that's fine with me! when i start work, i will work on sunday nights, but have all saturday off, so not too much change. it's good to be with family isn't it! thanks for sharing!

That is right. I am always looking for a weakend. This is because I am not able to finish many of my social and family works during the week days. By the end of week there is long list of work to be done on the weekend. Most of the time I fail to complete these all these tasks. I like to do eveything from home. I do not like to move out for long hours....perhaps my backache is the reason behind this.

Well I would start with taking my other half to work (can't even get a lie in) then I would come home and do some housework then after lunch go visit my mum then at 5 o'clock pick up my other half from work go home have a discussion on what we are having for dinner then we would just settle down and watch the evening telly. Next morn we would have a sunday family breakfast take other half to work (again) go home read the papers then prepare the dinner, pick up the other half from work (again!) sit down and have a big sunday family dinner, after that sit back and relax before the mon morning headache starts again. Maybe one weekend I'll do something exciting.

I don't have a standard program for each week end. For this week end today I stay at home with my friends, we'll watch a movie and we'll play our musical instruments toghether because we love the music. Tomorrow, Sunday, I'll go for a ride in a park. When I have to study for the exas at the university I stay at home all week end for study and I'm very sad but I know that I must study. Luckly this week end I haven't to study because my next exam is very far away.

everyday is weedend to me cause i don't have a job at the moment. watching tv, surfing the internet, sleeping and eating is what i usually do.

I wish I could just relax and hang around with the kids but as they get older I am becoming the taxi cab and have to drive them all over the place to different things and won't be spending much time together as a family. I am hoping that they can squeeze is their homework tomorrow sometime to have a family fun afternoon on Sunday.

Yeeeyyy... I always look forward to weekends. I love weekends! We usually do same stuff as you. I and my husband go out for outing together with my baby and my baby's nanny. We go to malls, parks,sometimes beaches of go to my parents or inlaws house. Anything that will go to our mind on that day. You could only expect that we are not at home during weekends. ^_^

usually, i continue writing my novel... sometimes, i play rpg's or visit my cousin's house and watch a movie.... i end it up with more writngs... =)

Since I get a break from school, I sleep. Then when I wake up I play with my computer, read a book, and then study. On Sunday, my family usually goes to the mall and at home, we watch a late night movie on HBO. lol
