What was the relationship like between Tom Brady and Bridge Monynahan. I understand that celebrity couples don't last long but what about these two?

I gather that they are lovers and have a child together. But being an incurable romantic I do hope that they decide to make their relationship permanent and have a wonderful wedding. I cannot understand why they cannot make up their mind.
