What kind of problems or challenges would you prefer to have in life?

Life will never be perfect. That's my favorite line. Problems and challenges come our way every now and then. I have yet to meet a person without a single problem in life. No one likes to have problems. But these same problems keep are the ones that keep our lives on the "go". They keep us thinking and figuring out how to overcome them, how to solve them. If you were given the opportunity to choose what kind of problems or challenges to have in life, what do you think you could handle the best? Financial problems? Relationship problems? Or family problems?

Hello paulsy,
If given a choice, I would rather avoid the three problems that you mentioned here. I don't know how good I am at handling and solving problems, but without that too, life must be very boring and monotonous, right? For the past two years, I always have problem in my life and I never expect that I could go through it and at the end, come out from each and every problem. I thank God for that. I just hope that in future, there will be less problem for me and my family.

I agree with you. If it were our choice, we wouldn't want to have any of these problems in life. But they do come, don't they? At times even when we least expect them to come! I strongly believe that as long as God is by my side, I can overcome any problem, no matter how difficult it may be!

Hello paulsy,
There was one time when I really felt that God ignored me. I lost my beloved dad and brother within three months time. After that, life wasn't easy to me. I was such an obedient and quite religious when I was young. I told my mom why God needs to test me with all these obstacles since I never ever once in my life, forget about Him. My mom told me to be patient and have faith in whatever I believe. But now, when I am getting older, I realized that God does LOVE me. I have been blessed with so much blessings but it is me, myself who never see them with my open heart.

I would rather have than family or financial problems. I believe that it would be more easy to handle things financially rather than family and relationship problems. Because those problems would really shake every member of the family. And I find it more unbearable knowing that the people I love is having difficulty with each other.

Yes, I do agree with you. Financial problems can be dealt by planning on how it can be solved. But family and relationship problems are more of feelings and emotions, and those are things we cannot dictate.

That's a very tricky question you've asked now. The first problem I wouldn't like to face is financial problems, because I hate working 8 hours everyday in the same place listening to somebody's orders and being bossed around. That's out of the question. And the next thing is, family problems...what most could be a problem with the family? I have faced enough of them and I've been forced to handle them, and I've really handled them in a very rebellious manner. So I have been pretty good with it, but wouldn't want that either. And talking about relationships, yes I've had a few problems and finally when they didn't work out, I've walked out of them. So right now, in my life I'm facing only one problem which is financial because am not able to find the right kind of work I'm looking for. Relationship problems aren't much for me because, am very detached. So I'd rather face problems with relationship than financial or any other. But we can't choose what we want to face, life just smacks too many on our faces and we get spaced out all of a sudden.

Yeah, you're right, we can never choose. We just need to be strong enough to face each and everyone of them... especially when they all come pouring like rain! Thanks for the response!

Yup, I could handle financial problems better than relationship or anything that deals with the heart... I wouldn't mind being poor, as long as my heart is happy too!
