Are One Sentence Topics Okay?

I have heard a lot of talk about one sentence topics not being acceptable. I come across them all the time and they don't seemed to be getting removed. I know that the guidelines say no to one line responses. Does anyone know about one line topic sentences?

I am not sure if it will get deleted, as I have encountered a lot of topics that are one liner. Actually, they are one liner sentence but the thought is complete. Meaning to say, the sentence can be understood and the logic of the sentence is very clear, and that is why they are still acceptable, as far as my opinion is concerned. However, being descriptive could also be of great advantage for it to get credited. Have a nice day and God speed!

I'm not sure either. I actually thought a few weeks ago that MyLot was on a rampage deleting discussions that didn't violate any rules. I don't know what was going on. I see one liners a lot too, and I don't think they have been deleted. I have a person on my friend list that does several one liners. As far as I know, they haven't been deleted.

Yes, there was a lot of deleting going on a little while ago. I was very concerned about it. I would see a discussion in my e-mail box, but when I attempted to respond to the topic, it would be gone. Maybe they had a temporary person or a new hire or something. I don't know, I am just glad that they have slowed down.

I am not really sure but I know a few of my other friends in here have had their disscussions deleted for crazy reasons. I haven't really posted any in awhile. I think the do want the disscussions to be 3 sentences long as well as the replies. or so I have heard.

Yes, one sentence topic are OK ! You can check out in my list of friends or otherwise there is one member named 'Balasari'. He write one liners, but all his liners are quite interesting and you feel like replying to them.

I don't really know if they are ok or not. I have a few friends that only post one liners too and I often don't answer them (well depending on my mood really). How is your weekend going Rozie?

My weekend has been very shaky so far, but I believe that next week everything is going to be smoothed out once and for all. I am kind of afraid that if I respond to one liners, they will be erased.

I think that one liners are OK , it is just that you probably will not get paid for them. That is why I try to give a good answer to anything that I post . I don't think that they are removed in case someone wants to reply to them. I am not saying that you should write a book but tell enough to get your point across the way you want it to be heard.

I understand that Mylot does not accept one line answeres. Just see on the left hand side of the box while adding coments on any discussion. They have clearly mentioned that we should be descriptive as far as possible. Now this 'as far as possible' means that we must try to be descriptive all the times. However, there is no thumb rule that you cannot give one sentence comment. I have seen some comments like this on mylot. As such I have never posted one line comment and so do not have any idea of such things being removed...
