Philippine Travel Advisory

Lang-ay Festival - This is one of the photos I took during my visits to the Norther provinces. The Lang-ay festival showcases the customs and traditions of the Mountain people called Igorots. These tribes were able to retain their cultural heritage despite of the hundreds of years of colonial influence.

I live in the Northern part of the Philippines. I used to be a travel agent, now a photographer and part time photojournalist. For someone traveling the norther part of my country like the Banaue Rice Terraces, Sagada Caves, Baguio City (The Summer Capital), The Cordillera, The Mountain Provinces, Vigan City (Old Spanish City), Pagodpod (White sand Beaches), etc. you can post your query here and I'll try to answer them the best I could. It might be a big help in your next visit.
