What Exactly Is "Homophobia"?

Apples to Apples - Fair debate is comparing apples to apples. The biggest apple wins (or loses, depending on the argument). Can you stay on point and make an argument without extreme bias. This is my challenge to you.

I've heard the terms "homophobia" and "Homophobe" used a lot in the media, on the internet, and adamantly by the gay community. Here is my question--and please stay on point--does the term address all people who believe homosexuality is wrong or just those who are truly afraid of homosexuals and homosexuality? Can't a person truly believe that homosexuality is not natural and NOT be labeled a homophobe?

Actually, there really HOMOPHOBES that exist. It does not apply to all those who believe that homosexuality is wrong. It's more of the scare that a homosexual might take advantage of you. The scare that he or she may be harassed by a homophobe. :)
