It seems as if our networks are vulnerable to attacks and that hackers from all over the world are trying to get into our systems to cause trouble or as a means of terrorist attack. Joel Brenner, the national counterintelligence executive said "The nation's electronic systems are too easy to hack, and the number of world-class hackers is "multiplying at bewildering speed."..."Our water and sewer systems, electricity grids, financial markets, payroll systems, air and ground traffic control systems ... are all electronically controlled, electronically dependent, and subject to sophisticated attacks by both state-sponsored and freelance terrorists," he said. We take for granted our computers and our easy access and that those same computers run everything in our country. We've talked before about what would happen if we lost our electricity and everything shut down. This is a worse and truly scary thought...that terrorists are always trying to attack our systems to create problems. Here is the article. http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/10/19/cyber.threats/index.html?iref=mpstoryview

It is truly scary to know how vulnerable we are. These hackers seem to be getting more clever every day.
