Soap Opera Star's Son Drowns

I don't follow the soaps like I used to but, I was browsing the headlines on Yahoo News and the name of a popular star of The Bold and the Beautiful caught my eye. Hunter Tylo's son drowned in a pool in Nevada last night. I cannot imagine the pain the parents must be going through. He was 19-years-old, and the article stated that he was already dead when paramedics arrived on the scene. Hunter came to attention when she was in a dispute with the soap opera she was on quite a few years ago. I also kept up with her then husband, Michael Tylo who was also acting. I feel awful for these people and wish that I could personally extend my condolences. She has 3 other children.

No one is immune from grief and grievous circumstances. I have had some losses, but never a child. I cannot imagine it, in fact. I think we really care about the people we follow in series programming, and something like this just makes them even more real to us. I feel sorry, too.

I"ve never experienced the loss of a child either, GG, but you are right, we take these people into our hearts when we see them on a daily basis through the magic of TV. My prayers are with them.

I am so sorry to hear about this.I used to see Bold and The Beautiful about 20 years ago, when it started.I remember Hunter well.This is such a nightmare for her. this so sad.

Yes, kareng, it somehow seems much sadder when they go so young. I pray the family will come through this OK.
