Anyone use a drop shipper

Someone mentioned on another board that they use a drop shipper, and is doing really well on Ebay. I have my doubts, but I am not quite familiar with the whole drop shipping process. Anyone use a drop shipper, is it worth it? Do you find they are a waste of time? What is usually the cost for this service?

What is a drop shipper? Is that like using the address of a box store for your business address? Or is that having the supplier ship your orders for you? I am curious about how eBay stores work.
