what is the saddest poem for you?

For me it is the "saddest poem" by pablo neruda. It definitely captures the concept of sadness for one's loss of love. It is also my favorite poem. The title is pretty accurate. It hits the spot.

the saddest poem for me is also by pablo neruda. "tonight i write the saddest lines". neruda writes really great love poems, though with a sad mood...

The poem for me is "In Flanders Fields" It was written in ww1 by dr John McCrae (Canadian) the first two lines are... In Flanders Fields the poppies grow between the crosses row on row It talks about the high cost of war.
