Some questions about Religion

Homosexuality is a sin because men and women were designed to complement each other. Even if a couple cannot have children, the very act of them making love and the human body is designed in such a manner that when the man enters the woman, he is not entering that part used for elimination. That is seated at our rear end. So God designed men and women that way. If HE wanted to design men to have s*ex with men, HE would have designed homosexuals with both male and female s*exual organs. You should also read Genesis 2 and 3, Romans 1:26. Just because you love someone does not mean you have the right to do it. Supposing a man is married and he sees a man, and wants to have s*ex with him, so he leaves his wife and his kids because the love he has for this man is so great that it is better than the former. Is it right for him to abandon his wife and children on the basis of this love? Animals have no souls, they were designed to be on Earth alone. Even if one is a good person, one cannot go to Heaven, unless God opens up his or her or your heart, and that person believes in the knowledge that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and will save him (or her) from their sins. We were all born sinners because Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit. It is now as if we inherited a genetic defect to sin, a hereditary condition that infects everyone unless God makes us one of HIS own and we can get forgiveness.. Also God is also a God of judgment as well as mercy. Do you think it is okay to just let your sins or crimes slide? Even if you get mad at one of your family and call that family member, stupid, do you think God would let that slide? The best way is for you to find a church were they preach the word of God and not just a social gathering and they will give you more information.

Wow, so much to address. Homesexuality is supposidly a sin because its not the normal, child creating, way. I personally find that rediculeous, besides there are enough people & kids now. Would you be able to scare people into going to church if you told them " Well, we might be able to sell your soul " ? No. People would just keep looking for somewhere that definently could. The church couldn't afford to have people looking elsewhere could they? Animals souls aren't directly addressed. They live by different rules so who's to say where they'll go. The wars are caused because many people are religious, not spiritual. Religion can be twisted by politians & individuals toward their own gains. Spiritually can not. Well I answered the questions, Who's going to be the first to knock me over the head for it?

I am a Christian in the sense that I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal saviour and I'm 'born again', HOWEVER I'm not what you would call a typical Christian! In fact, I refuse to go to church! Suspenceful had a wonderful typical *Christian* answer that means absolutely nothing to someone with loads of questions which really bugs me. Angemac, I'm not going to tell you you won't get into heaven unless you repeat *the prayer* after me! That's a crock of bologna! However I will advise you that the questions you asked are EXTREMELY good questions and many people are in your shoes. The answers to those questions are not easy to answer over a discussion like this, it's much better over a cup of coffee and sweet donuts with interaction from both parties (or more!) You've already received some good answers but I know deep down, right down to your toes, you won't be satisfied with them. You need more information and more answers to the thousands of questions. I find many Christians forget how it feels to have so many unanswered questions. You said that you were not going to knock religion down so I'll do it! I DO NOT believe in religion AT ALL. Religion is man's way to turn the rules upside down to benefit him. People can try but no one can convince me otherwise. Even the 'best' religions have issues. Do not forget that Religion is man made so not one single religion out there is completely 100% from the Bible and directly from God. Keep in mind that God's creations are perfect, Man made creations... well... cough cough... leaves a lot to be desired! What suspenceful was trying to say is We are ALL sinners and sin is what separates us from God. NOT ONE PERSON on this earth can claim they've never sinned. So how good is good? Does God have a scale of good vs evil? no... so going to Heaven cannot be based on 'being good'! And the If you don't go to church, you can't go to heaven' bull is so ridiculous to me! Those poor people around the world who cannot go to church for some reason or another will all go to hell? NOPE! Again, man made religion makes NO SENSE! Well I dove into more than I wanted to this morning =] but I will finish with this: I know Homosexuals who are Chritians. Some have more faith and love for Christ than many Hetero Christians I know! When it comes to judgement day, I believe that everyone will be judged fairly. Homosexuality is a sin however so is lying, so is cheating, so is stealing, so is murder, so is hypocrisy, so is worshipping anything BUT God... so is one sin worse than another? Sin is Sin my dear! And I leave you to ponder with: If you don't believe in God and/or want God as part of your life here on earth, then why would you want to spend eternity with God?
