No I dont think most the time chatting is a waste of time. Depends on who you are chatting with and what the subject is. I have friends all over the world now that I have been on the computer and Online for years. We talk about alot of things. I enjoy sharing the cultures that both of us live in. If not for the internet and chatting I would not learn as much about other people than I do now.

It depends on you're chatting with and about what. But chatting can be very useful and nice, and help you out if you're in trouble or just need someone to talk with who can understand you and stuff.

No I don't think chatting is a waste of time because through chatting I have learned lots of things and about other cultures. Lots of people live different lives and grew up different and it is neat to share. Sometimes it just helps to talk to a stranger about lifes problems

i dont think so. its depending our purpose to chatt. if we just want to have fun and spend out our spare time so it can be wasted time. but if we do chat coz we need any detailed information about something, i think it doesnt waste time.

if there's nothing better to do, it isn't a waste of time, it's actually a good 'break' :) now, that also depends on what's your topic and who's your chatmate. if it's no fun, then it's a real waste :P

According to me the internet has truly made the world a global village. I dont think so that chatting is a waste of time. I have made many new friends from all over the world and I can learn a lot about some other country's culture because of chatting.

Hoestly, yes. I think it is a huge waste of time because I could be getting something else accomplished. Like right now I am postponing putting the clothes in the dryer because I an answering this.
