i am a researcher and i do a lot of fieldwork. i go to different places and meet different kind of people. during these fieldworks, aside from my research topic, i love to hear different stories (from their lovelife, politics in their place, success stories of their life, etc.) of my respondents. i learn a lot from their stories and i really appreciate my kind of work. i always believe that learning through experience is very good and learning should not be confined in the four corners of the room. How about you, have you ever had experience to do a fieldwork? Hope you can share your experiences especially the lessons you've learned from it. :-)

I worked for an organisation and research group in the subject of aids syndrome and their fieldwork yields. The recordings of field workers showed really how the people are illeterate of aids syndrome and the effects of the diseass. Mainly the ladies as per the records of them shon the atrocities of men towards them. But the result shown aswomen only the virus creators as such the men as spreaders . Knowingly the mistakes done by men only than women. Really the results show s as still illiteracy and poverty in all stages of life of human. As per our survey in india around sixty percent of generation know the awareness of aids but still requires literacy.Really i find satisfied with the work i have been offered.

I am a geology student and in this should involve a lot of fieldwork. But as the college has little money to send students on the field, I tagged along some teachers projects. I was able to go on the field several times and mostly I've enjoyed it. Of course that every fieldwork exit has its ups and downs.
