i guess he already did accept it and i believe that the main reason was because of his mother. the political agenda is always there. we don't know exactly what are the conditions that make him say yes.but if i am in his condition and i know that most of the people already judge me and the most person who is always there for me (his mother) is dying, i will certainly get out the prison and spend my time with her as much as i can.

Justice delayed is justice denied. Our judicial system has so many red tapes also and of course it's very difficult to get justice because they are not blindfolded. More than six years is too long to prosecute a case and legally the evidence presented to convict Erap are sufficient because Singson was not even included. He should have been included but acquitted if that's what they like because he is the star witness and the case would not push through without him. But they did not include him and yet Erap was convicted. Erap is old and has suffered in prison for 6 and a half years and considering that if he pursues the case, it might take about or until Gloria would be out of the Presidency. To be free again, yes, he decided to accept the executive clemency and so he is now free. That's better than to languish in prison. He can do more outside. If Erap would have been younger, perhaps he would not have accepted it.

If i were Erap,i will not accept the pardon coming from the person who stole your presidency, the one who cause much of your suffering. But,because he has given up to our brand of justice, let him taste the fruit of liberty he rightly deserved.Let me clear this once and for all,he is not guilty, the evidences presented by the prosecutors are mere evidence from their mouth, and the evidence presented by the defendants are overwhelmingly documented and sensible. So please stop from saying that he deserves to be jailed. From the time of Marcos,we skip Cory and Ramos,to the time of Erap, these are just political maneuver by the local corrupt politicians and approved by America.Do you think Marcos and Erap would be thrown out of office if they cooperated with the American and local bussinessman?

First of all, let me say that there is no doubt in my mind that Erap is guilty and that goes the same for every other president that has occupied the position. All of them are the same. On the other hand, if the law and legal procedure is to be followed: there is no way it can be proven that Erap IS guilty of plunder. As for Erap's pardon it was hardly unexpected and this onlt proves what a joke our politics has become.
