It's A Boy!!

Well, my girlfriend had her baby Oct.24th 2007! It was one of those hard labors...they startd to lose the babies heartbeat and when they checked her the baby was going back up the birth canal...They ended up doing a emergancy sea section on her...They had to bag the baby for the first 15 mins before they would even move him to the nursary..they had IV's and all these wires hook up to him..It was just so sad:( Then got him stable but my friend wasn't able to see him at all that night so the nurses took a cpl of pictures of him for her....but by morning he started to get bad again.Instead of 40 breaths per min his was over 100 a min..they let my friend go in and see him while waiting for lifeline to come and fly him to a bigger hospital...But as of last night he was doing real good. Today my friend gets to come home and we will be leaving to the hospital to be with him...But he did weigh 8lbs and 1 ounce he was 20 3/4 inches long...He is such a beautiful baby...I just want to send out prayer to her and her baby..If you would please put them in your prayers for me?

Awww .. . . Congrats to her for a beautiful baby boy.
But thats gotta be such a hard thing to go through I don't know how I would manage something like that !
I will say a special prayer for her and the baby.
I hope it all goes well and that she will be able to bring the baby home soon. They are sooo much fun.

Aw, I hate it when these stories come up. I feel so sad for the difficult bits and then really happy because a gorgeous baby is born! I'm currently deciding whether or not to have a baby, and discussions like these probably don't help!
Congratulations to your friend though, and of course, they will be in my prayers and thoughts!

Congratulations to your friend! I too had to have an emergency c-section last year while I was pregnant with my daughter, it can be kind of scary! My daughter is fine though, very healthy, and happy :) I will definitely keep your friend and her baby boy in my thoughts.

Aw, i really hope i never have to get a C-section but woo an 8 lb baby! Was that her first? Congratulations to her and good luck. I hope everything goes good for her and she recovers from the surgery quick.
