Hello daryljane, Lately, I have many too. I don't really care of my appearance and it makes my husband wonders so much. Last time I can't go out from the house without make-up and dress up but now, it is just not a big deal for me. Sometimes I just put on a pale lip color on my lips and an eyeliner for my eyes. It is amazing how I change a lot lately. I still don't know what is the reason! LOL!

did you just give birth..usually when we just gave birth, we pass through that stage of not being able to mind our self but focus more on the baby already. or have you been busy with a lot of things, or are you a homemaker and stays home most of the time. with that since most of the time were only home, we dont have time to put on some make up unlike the times when were working.

Hello daryljane, I have a 14 months old baby boy. Yes, I spend more time on him rather than thinking of my appearance. The only thing that can make sense why I behave like this, maybe... because I lived separately with my husband for almost 10 months. I didn't feel like dressing up or make up myself when he was not around. When he came back few weeks ago, he realized that I changed quite a lot. He was pretty amazing with my changes. Think I have to start taking care of myself again!

I don't use a lot of stuff for my face. I only wash my face with olay soap before going to bed just to get rid of my make-up. Before, I planned to use facial scrub but a friend of mine and even my husband didn't agree because I don't have problem with my face. They only advised me to slowly rub ice cubes in my face after washing with soap because it can help close the pores and makes the skin glow a bit pink when done on regular basis. When I take a shower, I just also use Olay soap and that's it. However, I may say that I am a bit vain with make-up. I have a lot of those stuff but all of them are tan/bronze or brown in shade. You would never see another color than what I mentioned. Before I didn't give a hella care even applying face powder in my face but everything change when I worked already because my work requires me to deal a lot of customers. So that's the start of my brown/tan/bronze make-up mania. hehehhe

oh, I forgot to mention this. The first few times I put make-up before, it seems like I am carrying some load in my face. I feel the same way with you but right now it doesn't bother me anymore.

My biggest beauty mistake is to not get enough sleep. It does not matter if you have a good routine, if you wear makeup, if you repaint your nails, if you are not taking care of your beauty and your body from the inside. That means enough sleep, enough water, pleasant thoughts, vitamins. I fall short of the mark in the other ways too, but they will never make up for poor health habits.

i truly agree!! with the kind of job i have...sleep is a luxury! so even if i have all the time to wash my face, repaint my nails, wear make up, put on some moisturizer and all that, i still dont get all the sleep i needed...

For me I think its only failing to wash my face at night. I really forget to do so sometimes, especially if I had a really busy day. As for make up, I intentionally omit putting on make up sometimes, especially if its a day off from work. I'd like to let my face rest from all the cosmetics.

same here..when i get home and im in my room watching movie already, remote control does all the work for me..until i press the power botton to turn it off...then i already get lazy going to the bathroom and wash my face...i sometimes feel guilty at myself, i just justify it at the same time by telling myself my eyes needs to rest and its bad if im going to wach my face...silly me huh? :)
