Recent flood in China brought many rats from their natural habitat to human habitations, in order to reduce the trouble people are eating roasted rats, they are paying around 136 yuan for 1 Kg roasted rat meat.

I can't believe that rats can be eaten there. I've been in China 6 months ago and stayed there for two years, i haven't experienced even heard even one of my colleagues eating rats. I know one kind of rat that even my countrymen eat rat, those are rat who lives in ricefields, but house rats couldn't be eaten due to most of those lives in dirty places and can bring desease to people.
