Are Family and Friends Equal to You? Or, Family is more important to you than friends or vice versa? If this question was asked to me before marriage, it would have been both. But now my family is more important to me because I don't have any close friends. Instead my family members are only my close friends.

I think that family is more important you can choose your friends but you cant choose your family. Freinds come and go but family is with you for life.

I am married but I think Family and Friends are equal to me. I stay with my friends almost as long as with my family. In front of my family , I feel the responsibility on my shoulder and feel tired sometimes but with my friends, I feel relaxed and they bring me a lot of happiness.

No surely my family is the most important for me. rather all my moves are to see them happy. I am here to do my best for my family and never give a second thought if a sacrifice from my end would make them happy. It is not possible to give the same kind of attention to friends.

No.. for me family are not the same with friends. Mostly, family will be more important than friends, in every thing. That also count after marriage. My family are always come first. No matter what will happen.

Yes, family & friends are equal to me. A lot of my friends I consider my family, yet a lot of my family I consider my friend. :-) Granted, you are able to choose your friends and family has already been chose for you.. but how you value your relationship with each person is up to you! A "friend" could very well be the sister that you never had. That's why I never put a limit on friendships because real friends are hard to find and even harder to keep!

Hi shedii! I always considered my friends my "chosen family". I treat them as if they are my kins and I utterly love and respect them. I treat both my family and friends equal as I think its a key to a balance and happy life.
