A Spitball Comparison: President Bush = "Leader of the Free World" Jesus Christ = "Savior of the World" Should this comparison frighten us? Absolutely not! Jesus, believed by some 2.1 Billion human beings to be the only way to Heaven, sacrifices his own life through an excruciating ordeal for sinners (past, present, future), while on the other hand, President Bush, elected by a majority of US citizens, leads a sacrifice of loyal Americans, in the hope that it may further the freedom of Americans (present, and future, and preserving the memory of those who have gone before us). Like it or not, I believe they are two Leaders, both established by God to maintaain and restore Order. A lot of people hate President Bush's decisions, but many more cringe and are willing to fight at the mere mention of the Name of Jesus. But both have authority and both should be honored and respected for it.
