which is more popular as pet-cat or dog?

I love dogs, most of all. My all-time favourite dog is a retriever/labrador in view of its lovely nature and cuddly quality. Cats are O.K. but I do not consider that they are as loyal/faithful/person-friendly as dogs.

We are cat people here. We do love all animals but we are more likely to have cats than dogs. Sometimes though I think i should go out and get me a little dog to care for as I don't have babies around anymore. LOL

Hello there. My favorite is Dog too. I especially love big dogs like Retrievers. =D Dogs are indeed faithful and loyal animals. They are very adorable too. In my country, Dogs are more popular. You see more people walking dogs than cats. There are also more people owning dogs as pets.

Personally, I'm more fond of cats. I have a cat and he's so friendly! I know dogs are known to be more clever and obediant, but I think my cat is well behaved. To be honest, dogs just frighten me, they have bigger teeth! Lol! It's down to personal preference, but cats are easier than dogs to look after, and I think you gain more from having a cat!

i guess most people are quite fond of dogs. as they say "dogs are the man's bestfriend".

probably dogs. they seem to always be more popular. i'm much more of a cat person, so obviously i like cats

Hi-it all depends-because that is the kind of question kin to the one-"Who do you love more-Son # 1 or Son #2?" Because I am NOT a cat person, I grew up with dogs, but I MARRIED a cat person and he LOVES cats-so therefore, we own 1 dog (mine and my son's) and 3 cats-I have feelings for them all....
