Have you been to the Grand Canyon?

This is my son looking at the Grand Canyon for the - My son didn't know what he was even going to see, and when we finally walked to where we could see the canyon, he was shocked that there was any place like this on earth.

My family took a trip there last summer and it was wonderful. It's such a magical place. I've also seen the Redwoods in Sequoia National Park, and they gave me the same feeling. Where is the most incredible natural thing you've seen?

I have never watched the Gran Canyon and I have never been in America for now, but I would like to visit that country.

What about where you live? Are there any geographically interesting areas?

Let me say, not yet. I would love to go there, but next year or so, we plan to go to Florida, and later on to the Caribbean. So we had better save our money. I better start writing like crazy. I do not remember the best natural wonder we sa, because they were all spectacular and most of it was pre good computers (TRS 80s do not count) and digital cameras. We were in Yellowstone Park and saw the geysers, went to Alaska and saw the Marjerie Glacier and saw ice falling off (I expected some very big chunks and a large noise, cruiser rocking and all that.)

I'm lucky that I don't live too far away (Southern California) and have been to the Grand Canyon several times for quick day trips. It's an amazing sight every time. The best time to me is to get there before the sun rises... there aren't many people there at this time (plus there wasn't anyone at the entrance so no fees). Watching the sun rise, changing the colors of the rocks, is so beautiful and is a very spiritual event. Even though there were people around me, everyone remained silent until the sun finished it's incredible show. I haven't done any of the tours .. I just drove in and sat at the rim for awhile and then left, feeling at peace. Nature truly is a wonderous thing.

I was there in 2005 and loved it. When I tell people about it and show them pictures I always say that if you look at picture you will never know what it means to stand there and looking into the distance. You just can't feel it when you don't stand there. Know what I mean? I still remember standing there and thinking "this looks so unreal".... If I would live near I would go there almost every day.. It is a very special place in my opinion which is worth to see for everyone for at least once. If you don't.. you will miss something!

Most incredible natural thing? Got to be the Grand Canyon. Photos and videos do not do it justice. We walked up a hill, I remember and once we got to the top, there it was...I was speechless. The sight was awesome. My late American step father once said to me: 'In your lifetime, make sure you go to the G. Canyon at least once' Never thought I would, as I live in London but my wife and I did manage it and the whole place is a wonderful stunning experience.

I've been there once and absolutely loved the experience! It was so beautiful. It gave me the chills. I can't even begin to describe how beautiful it was. There doesn't seem to be enough words.

The grand canyon would be the most amazing thing that I have seen only because that is the only thing that I've been to. But I would really love to go back to the Grand Canyon.

I have been to the Grand Canyon. In my opinion the coolest way to visit the Grand Canyon is to take the Grand Canyon Railway out of Williams, AZ. It is a REALLY fun train ride with entertainment.

I haven't been to the Grand Canyon for several years, but I remeber it as if it were yesterday. It was the most incredible natural thing I've seen so far. Beautifully amazing!
