this jesus challenges me!

Everything he tells us to do is for our own good. It is not always smooth sailing but it is sailing towards the perfect goal. He does promise many wonderful things! He promises perfect security and all we have to do is trust him! Trusting is hard some times but if you just make up your mind you are going to trust him he will help you trust him! I was afraid of many things, he gave me perfect peace...I was furious, he gave me perfect peace...I was towards material goods, he showed me real ever lasting things...I was the boss,I now have perfect rest in him...Everyone wants security, he gave me perfect security...I wanted to be the greatest, he showed me I do not need to, I am great in his eyes, and I have the all time greatest protecting me...I hated, he showed me so much deep love and changed my heart, I now really love my enemies,there is no medicine that can heal us like love!

Well, lets see if I can help you....Forgiveness is to help overcome your being angry and furious. Why carry those dark feelings around? Does it hurt the enemy? No, it only hurts you.Without forgiveness you cannot move forward. The Lord works in many mysterious ways. He knows that you are afraid, and so was he when he faced being nailed to the cross for our sins. So what is there to be afraid of for us? He was human too, and he faced this trial for us! What will material goods do for you when you die? Nothing, they can't go with you into eternal life. These things mean nothing. Your heart should be full of love for others and for Christ, not for possessions. To humble yourself and serve others as Christ did is necessary for entrance into his kingdom. You wouldn't expect to go into a King or Queens palace expecting to be the boss would you? Our time here on earth is to prepare us for his abundance in heaven. Are we worthy of that? He does provide security for us in his bosom. We must believe in him wholeheartedly and his security comes to you when you reach his home in heaven. Where we will worry no more. To be the greatest...well, humble yourself with the innocence of children. Children do not know sin. They love each other without doubt, it is only as we turn into adults that we become judgmental and all of these other complicated emotions take place. Hatred...well, what does that do for you as a christian or as a person in general? Does it make you feel better? It doesn't hurt your enemy. In the bible it says to love your enemy. Because he is one of Gods children too. Would you expect no less from others? I dont know if that helped, but that's how I see things. Good luck in your search for your answers!
