How do you get rid of spiders?

Awhile back, I heard that you can get rid of spiders by spraying vinegar into the corners of your ceiling. Supposedly spiders don't like vinegar. Does anyone know if that's true? I haven't tried it yet. Would love to know if it works.

That is for flies. With Spiders just spray some bug spray.

I don't have any ways to get rid of spiders away from my house, but I am glad to know that vinegar helps.

When I see a spider, I spray it with Raid Ant and Roach killer, if it doesn't die...I beat it with the can while shouting "It's Raid, da*nit, now die!!" LOL Hubby loves to see me kill a spider. LOL "COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS" **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

I don't know about vinegar, but I do know that they don't like citrus. So find either a cleaner or air freshener or both with citrus or go out and but citrus oil to place into your cleaners. How did I find out? I started a discussion when I started here because at the base of the lamp above the computer would be this spider web. I would continually clean it and it would come right back. Some smart aleck replied twice, kill the spider and I can get rid of the web when twice I said I never saw the spider, just the web. (how can I kill something I don't see?) Anyways, someone told me about citrus cleaner, but I only had citrus air freshener, so I cleaned off the lamp and sprayed that area and no more spider webs... And every time I see a spider web, I clean it and spray and sure enough, no more webs or spiders..:)
