My dog is accident prone

My Dog is a very extremely prone to accident but that's cos that poor old man is getting on in age. he's coming up 77 this year in people years and 11 in dog years. He's a foxy-jack russell cross and he can be very stupid at times. any suggestions about preventing these accidents? catch ya round JM&M.
