Probably another non 120% discussion following those two bleh...political discussions. I'd clock those at -250% and this at -400% I start this discussion after seeing some movie on Laserdisc for sale! Who in the world still has one!? I just don't see it or get it. Those things were worthless then and are below worthless now. I mean the school had one for these 'educational' lessons but those things are like giant CDs and they look like VCR quality. Did anyone here have one or ever have one? What in the world would you do if you had an LD? Collect them? Fair enough. I collect things too. Though my bro jokes of whittling down a laserdisc and using it for a giant shuriken. -_- (It's better not to ask...) Well, happy posting mylotters. Or at least I hope a chuckle was elicited in my little story.

You and me both. Even my dad went "Huh, Laserdisc" for his first sentence when I mentoned it. Then he started remembering it. I believe he called it... "...lousy piece of Junk things". I have of course removed the instances of profanity in the quote.

I had one of those years ago, back when they were cutting edge technology. I didn't even know they still made the discs. The discs looked like 33 vinyl LPs. You could probably make a Frisbee out of one.

I think they might have stopped making them at turn of the century. But yes I was very surprised to see one in highschool! Even a few students were going "What's that thing?!" "I thought that was a frisbee".

All jokes aside, anybody interested in buying used laserdiscs can contact me. I have Disney animation and classic features from the thirties and forties. All are in mint like new condition. kidsholine@yahoo.com
