Topamax for weight loss?

Has anyone been put on Topamax specifically for the appetite control properties of the drug? I heard that some doctors are using Topamax "off label" to help those with eating disorders like binge eating and bulimia. Any thoughts?

I never took Topamax for the purpose of weight control.But I also heard that it is effective in that respect.
