I am going for an interview next week to lead a group of developmentally disabled adults. I have done some teaching and have a master's degree but in an unrelated field.
I was told that I will be asked to write a lesson plan.
When I was done lesson plans before it has been the following format
Goal of the program
Lesson objectives
Time frames
Activities to meet objectives
Alternate activities to meet the needs of people who learn in different ways
Does anyone have any suggestions on a more professional format or items that I can/should include.
I am open to all help and suggestions.
Thanks

It looks like you covered it all in your list already. I think that compassion is what will make the real difference in your teaching techniques.
