Ok the opeing skit threw me and my hubby for a loop,it involved Halloween party with Hilary dressed as a bride,Bill pilgram, and someone in a Barack Obama mask, when Hillary asks who is this? He takes off his mask and it was the real Obama!
And he said something about I am not dressing up for Hallwoeen I am not changing for anyone, probably because of that not wearing the Flag pin thing a few weeks ago that got so many people into an uproar. And Obamam said that famous line"live from new York it's Saturday Night".
So what do you think? Was a good move on his part? I can't say i ever remember a canadate being on a show like SNL,but then again he was just on Ellen dancing.
What do you make of all of this?

Ok so Saturday Night Live may have been on for some 30+ years but if Obama being on it makes him lose or gain new backers, that's lame. Saturday Night Live has always been a big supporter of Political Happenings, whether good or bad and I think almost any politician would LOVE to be on SNL because it's such a landmark show. Nothing has ever surpassed it and while I think it's lost a lot of the umph and funny that it used to have, it's lasted so many years and I don't see it falling anytime soon.
I thought it was pretty lame that the few things Obama had to say he had to read from a teleprompter. I think it's also weird that the host was a News Reporter, wierd. Anyhow, I went to sleep and I taped it so I'm actually watching it right now!

yea you are right. I like Brian Williams he was pretty funny on Jimmy Kimmel. I just wonder how Obama's apperance will help or hurt him.
I also agree some of th funny has left SNL,but they do have their moments.
