Who is the greatest matematician for you?

In our country there was a great mathematician (not mathemagician) by name Ramanujam. In our ancestor days, we had what is known as Vedic maths and the exponent was Bharkaracharya. These two were the greatest mathematicians Indians are proud to have.

First, thanks for the kind response. Second, I think I have read something about Ramanuyan (I write down as I read the name, since I don't know if they are the same person...). He was a formidable genius of maths, discovered in the late 19 th century by and English matematician. Great!
