Why did they only make one album?

I think Garbage is one of the best alternative bands, but wonder why they only made one album? Did the group fall apart, or did record sales not go so well with the first album? Or do they have another album out there that I just dont know about? If anyone knows, let me know.

Are you kidding one album? What about Version 2.0 or Absolute Garbage or Beautiful Garbage or Ultimate Garbage? Check out Wikipedia!

you should also look into their uk singles, they have some pretty awesome b-sides that were not released otherwise. Awesome band, one of the few modern groups I can really get into. Infectuous beats and Shirley's voice makes me think naughty thoughts. Grrrrowwwl.

They have more than one and they are all good albums, which is pretty rare for most bands. They have broken up now but hopefully they might reform in the future.

Also if you are a fan of Garbage and love their sound like I do, you should pick up the CD by Shirley's original band: Angelfish. Hard to find, but worth it if you do. I got my copy from BMG, and I think I saw a copy on ebay before.
