Hello, I got an iPod nano just a few weeks ago. Everything was great the first few times I added songs to my iPod Nano. Now, each time I try to add/erase songs I use the USB cord that came with it and my computer does nothing. It just charges the iPod. I have upgraded to the new version of iTunes and I even tried MediaMonkey. I tried restarting the computer, I tried turning off the iPod, I tried putting it into different USB ports. I even tried to upload the songs on my other desktop but it just charges my iPod like my other computer. I tried troubleshooting in the iTunes but it didn't help. I'm not sure what to do. I CAN stil listen to the songs on my iPod I just can't upload new songs! Is there anyone that can help me? Thank you :).

I can't figure out the solution as you have done all I can think of. Is it under warranty? Can you check with the Apple Store and see what they say? I think they can give you more support..

Hm, well I won it in a contest so I am not sure if it even has a warranty! I didn't want to pay money to get a prize fixed and I've only had it for about 3 weeks! Pablo

I have an IPOD and have downloaded 1000 songs into it for free without using ITUNES and paying for songs. I signed up for Ares.com and paid 19.95 and can download unlimited song for a lifetime. You can also download a cd into your computer and put the songs in that way. Maybe you dont have the cd's with the songs you want but your friends might. I hope I helped.

Well, that's not the problem. I don't use iTunes to download their songs. I thought it would work to upload songs, but whenever I connect it to my computer my computer doesn't show the iPod so I can add songs. I'm not sure how I can add songs without my computer recognizing it :(
