Mauve Binchy like writer

Does anyone know a writer similar to the Irish novelist Mauve Binchy? I do enjoy her books but I was not able to find something similar in teh american literature. Thank you for your help.

You would probably really enjoy Marian Keyes if you like Maeve Binchy. Her books are lots of fun and easy to read. You might also like to try Audrey Howard but I think you would enjoy Marian Keyes more. I believe she is also Irish.
