Knowledge gaining or Information gathering?

Mostly people are identifying information gathering as knowledge gaining. This is really very wrong thing, because knowledge is different than information. one can use so many information to reach up to knowledge. But knowledge is not always based on information! What I understood by this word knowledge is relating me with first hand experience of life with understanding and learning without any judgment! Knowledge might have intelligence but can't avoid heart and emotions, rather includes them to achieve integral approach through total learning! I think that knowledge is mostly we are getting throughout total being and some time we recognize it as intuitive also! While information just adds few things to understand the knowledge more specifically but it does not affect the manifestation of the knowledge! What do you think about this? What’s your knowledge suggesting you about knowledge and information? Let's share information about this also!

As I have known knowledge is the wing, I got the knowledge after my teachers or mylotters input information or data on web board or send to me, or I have done searching the other information, so I can learn it now or later, I will gain the knowledge after studying hard, so it is like the wings sticks to my body. Correct me if I am wrong.

What ever you have tried to say by wings is KNOWLEDGE! kNOWLEDGE ALWAYS HAS THE TRUTH NOT ONLY FACTS AND DATA! Mostly facts and data are used to elaborate the knowledge which is base of the thing! To know means grasping and gaining every aspect or one specific and clear aspect of the thing. Information is a gathering of certain kind of required data and facts which could be explain elaborately the knowledge and its perticular aspect!

Information gathering and gaining knowledge go hand in hand, they are not defferent.It is information gathering that gives you knowledge and confidence.If you want to gain knowledge by way of experiencing it, then it will take long time to gain knowledge and by the time you wanted to implement it, you would have crossed your age. This is the reason people use to say "hear what elders say". Because elders has already experienced so many things and inform us what to do and what not to do. Gathering information is just like going around the world to get experience. This can be done now by just reading News Papers, Watching TV news,reading Magazines and now Internet is also there.Apart from all these things hearing to elders is the best thing,because they are the people who are concerned about us. So, it is better to first gather information and do things accordingly, and that becomes knowledge to you, you share your knowledge as information to others. Let them enjoy your experience and you enjoy their happiness, because it is because of you they are happy. But never be Satisfied, just go on providing information to others when ever you get a chance.

You have put your point of view with the support of logic and its ok to me also. But here my saying has different point of view, which is not denying your view but putting emphasis on knowledge! Mostly knowledge leads the things while informations try to go with opportunity! I am sure , you have added good thing in this discussion!
