Should we start testing our pets toys for lead?

Pet toys and lead - No paint on this one should be good

With all the talk of lead in our childrens toys I have become concerned that their might be lead in the pet toys I will be going to the hardware store before the christmas season and buying a lead paint kit what do all the pet lovers think?
