"your heart against your mind"

when falling in-love... which do you prefer to use/rule? do you follow what your heart says? or do what your mind/brain thinks/plans?

I dont clearly see the divide between the heart and the mind hence I always tend to believe that the heart and the mind which are one and the same things have simply been coloquelled. When my heart falls for some one or a decision, I guess, my mind, which indirectly is my brain, will have ocassioned that action. Term heart, lingers around love thoughts, and you cannot love without getting your mind involved or can you?
