family goes to Iraq to Fight war

I was interested to see how other women and men out there felt about their love ones being forced to go to Iraq? I'm torn on the subject. My boyfriend and Brother with both more than likely be in Iraq for Christmas. Although they are fighting a war for their country, it's one they both feel should be resolved and seems as if there's nothing they can do to help it anymore.

I wish you, your boyfriend and your brother all the best. I hope they'll be alright. I do agree its a torn subject, but your family members chose military service and the government assigns them to locations as part of the situation. And if you want opinions on this, you may do well to seek other army family members. Several are on mylot. Just put in "army" or "military" or "family" to the discussions search bar.
