i got this remark from our professor, i thiink it is philosophic,so share with you.

First and foremost we must go for "threw", the meaning of threw. Threw is the past tense for 'throw'. And not throwaway . And the connecting words are "because ha had nothing". My conclusion here is "He never threw anything USEFUL, because he had nothing USELESS". SO make useful to anything that we have, own, obtain and possess. Anything. And make sure they are no useless.
