What are your views on concrete jungles?

Hi! what do you think of concrete jungles-i mean buildings,sky scrapers,etc-i think they are a curse because not only re they destroying the environment but also contributing to pollution and global warming-what r ur viewss?

I know that concrete jungles are an essential in today's world, because of the need to accommodate an ever-expanding population in a world in which there is only finite space. However, a majority of them are 'carbunkles' (curses) on the landscape, and they do accelerate gobal warming (and deteriorate the quality of the environment)
