As a parent, what's the best parental advice you've received? For me, one of my best friends told me to enjoy my children while they're still young because they're a child but once.

My paent's adviced me to be stood with your own leg in all sorts of struggles in your life. Don't expect others help towards physical or financial whatever may be.

Yes but no. Your friend is not exact right. Life is not a bed of roses. It is difficult for those, who can not face difficulties. Start age of children is very important. It is base. It is start of real life. It is time to prepare your child for the forth coming life. Every future is built on its past. The present of your child is past of their future. And every good future could be built on its past. It is training period. Train them to face the difficulties of life in their future. The learning in the age up till 7 years is 70 % of the remaining age. Other than this 70%, I mean 30 % learn a child in above than start age of 7 years. So you should teach them about how to live and how to behave in just start or young age of your child. Give them good meal and look them with the eye of lioness.

You're right. Life is not a bed of roses. that's a good advice you've received about parenthood. I agree that children should be trained well and good from the very young age. Children do absorb and learn things quickly. They learn a lot through observations and imitations. There's a saying that goes " teach the child in the way that he should go, for when he is old he will not depart from it". One to seven years old is a formative years/age of the children, which means that we should take advantage of these years in teaching them to learn. They learn things quickly in this age. But teach them correctly and right... with virtue. God speed...

I think the best advice I've gotten is to not be afraid to show the kids that I've made mistakes or to say I'm sorry.

that's right. what do we have to lose if we say sorry? instead we gain more - trust, friendship, love, honesty admiration and much more.
