What makes a great leader?

He/She must be honest,passionate,able to tske right dicission at right time,should lead by example.

I want to know why there is no discussion on my subject matter Air pollution in Nigeria.

COMPASSION, commitment, sacrifice.... One of my heroines was Mother Theresa. She was awesome.

A good leader must be knowledgeable, honest and bold. He must also live a life of a role model for many people. He must be someone that many people wont find so much fault in him/her. Mind you,there is no one without fault and this may be largely due to the fact that humans are most of the times subjective in their judgments. But a great leader must have a great number of suppporters.

A clear set of personal morals, strength, and the ability to follow through with a plan despite popularity votes.

I think the best leaders are good followers first. You lead from beside, getting in the trenches with your followers. You can't pull or push, you walk together encouraging and assisting.

the fact is Nobody is a born leader. Its only with age and his attitude that he matures to become a leader. Being a leader your first attribute must be multi tasking . A leader not only takes care of his own work but also his team members. He must take all responsibilities of his team , even in a worst case situations. He must see that there is co-ordination in his rule. He must have the power to demand what he needs and get it done from his sub ordinates. The first thing thats important here is trust on self and positive attitude and the capability to solve any problem and good orater.....

what makes a great leader? nothing but his/her upbringing. Any child that lacks the love of his/her mother/father during his/her childhood will never be a good leader. let me explain: when he/she has a decision to make, the leader will not consider the feelings of other people/subjects, because he/she never experienced that consideration from his/her parents when he/she was growing up! shalom!

A good leader hmust have pure, loving heart and good judgment... if he does he'll never go wrong and can lead his people to a common purpose...

A great leader is one who constantly thinks good of his followers. By being sincere, honest, possessing love and affection, showering kindness to the needy, with knowledge and dedication and also with the feeling of serving the common purpose, sincerity of purpose, constantly pursue the goals selflessly, one can become a great leader.
