Starting 2006 or 2007,Brunei is building its first turtle reservation center to protect turtles found in Brunei Darussalam..Its in the process though but whats important is its aim which is to nurture turtle babies so that there are chances that matured turtles in future will be increased in terms of numbers. Some schools are given brief explanations about the importance to conserve turtle populations. So they are told to not purchase any turtle eggs which sometimes are smuggled by irresponsible merchants.Anyone found guilty shall be charged per egg which may lead to a fine of thousands of Bruneian Ringgit.Let us pray for our mother earth's turtles.

Long live turtles! Such lovely animals. I hope more places will have centers like this one. I know we have a Sea Turtle Hospital that helps with preserving Sea Turtles and their lives.
