Many of us are addicted by Internet surfing. Most of the time, we surf the net for hours and hours and hours, from morning until midnight, only to realize and tell ourselves "Oh, I just wasted my time for nothing." I must admit, sometimes this happens to me. So, I'm just curious, how much percent of your Internet time do you consider a waste of your time?

What kind of things can we call "waste"? chatting? playing games? I do not know. Chatting is good for me.I can keep in touch with my friends. When I am tired,I play games. This can relax me.honest, sometimes,I should have studied. So suring is not a waster of time itself.the most important thing is u should do some useful things on the net.

It depends on the person wheter he would waste his time on the internet or would use for something better. I never think that I am wasting my time here in the internet. Each time I am here, I am enjoying myself and learning at the same time. If you like, you could actually earn on the NET.

Sorry there's something wrong with my computer and I've made a wrong response, now I will continue. If you think you've wasted time in surfing Internet, then you can make a list of things that you want to do on the Internet, and at the end of the list you can write"It's time to have a rest!!"then you will feel you've done a lot of things and never feel a waste of time.Remember it's only you that can control your own time.

I consider very little of the time I spend online "wasted", to be honest. Once in a while I do waste a bit of time just browsing, but most of the time if I am online I am on mylot or on my messengers, talking to my friends. That is not wasted time for me, because my friends are very dear to me. So I am spending time with people I care about when I am online, typically. I used to waste a lot of time online, before I made close online friends.

Well, it has never happened to me because I am always worried about internet costs. So I use the internet as if it is some rare precious thing and am careful about each second. I use the net to chat, check emails, research for articles, and make a little bit of money, like I am trying to do on Mylot. So no waste of time there. :)

A few years back, I used to browse all over the net to find topics that comes to mind, and often wasted time in doing so. But I now subscribe to various web/blog sites to send newsletters of my interests (e.g. latest freeware programs), which means I don't have to waste time searching online. I have also learnt how to be search specific by optimizing keywords, and use specific search sites (e.g. wikipedia, technorati for blog search, etc), to try to quickly find relevant topics...

Oh yes this happens to me occasionally. Sometimes I do waste a little bit of time on it. There was one time when I was trying to search for a RuneScape guide, but I wasted so much time! It turns out I found it at circuit city. I was a little mad for wasting 2 hours on it. Anyways enjoy your stay at mylot!
